'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi', a sports drama based on the life of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is set to release on 15 March 2024. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma, will star Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
Rajkummar Rao will portray the role of Dhoni, one of the most successful and popular cricketers in the world, who led India to three ICC titles in 2007, 2011 and 2013. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor will play the role of Mahima, a fictional character inspired by Dhoni's wife Sakshi. The film will showcase the journey of Dhoni from his humble beginnings in Ranchi to his rise to fame and glory as the captain of the Indian cricket team.

Karan Johar’s production company, Dharma Productions, have announced this Bollywood flick which will show the real-life story of MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni. This is the second Bollywood movie based on the life of India’s World Cup-winning captain after the Sushant Rajput-starrer ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’ released in 2016.
