The Team India head coach Rahul Dravid is currently with the side in the Caribbean for a multi-format tour. While the Dravid coached side are leading the two-match Test series 1-0, they will lock horns in the second Test, starting Thursday, July 20.
In a video surfacing post his ‘Indiranagar ka gunda’ Cred ad, the former Indian cricketer revealed that his mother is still not really convinced about it. He also confirmed that his mother couldn’t believe Dravid portraying himself as ‘Indiranagar ka gunda’.
In the recent event, Dravid revealed that his mother did not like where he is seen breaking the car’s side mirror. “It’s been really positive expect from my mum. My mum is still not really convinced about it. I think she still believes that I shouldn’t have been smashing the glass. She’s like - you really think this is…..?,” he quoted.

The 50-year-old also added that this ad is one of the most embarrassing things he has done. “It’s probably one of the most embarrassing things I have done - standing in Bombay in front of the street. Even though it’s an ad shoot and you know there are people around you, who are semi-actors or whatever they are. Still for someone like me to stand in the middle of that road, keep screaming and shouting, was really embarrassing,” he added.
It is to be noted that the Rohit Sharma-led side will now take on West Indies in the second Test in Trinidad, having won the first by an inning and 141 runs. The Men in Blue, then will play a three-match ODI series followed by a five-match T20I series as a part of the West Indies tour.
