Namibia will be participating in their third consecutive ICC Men’s T20 World Cup after qualifying with a first-place finish in the African Qualifier last year. Gerhard Erasmus will be leading Namibia in the T20 World Cup 2024, set to be played in the Caribbean and the USA, with an aim to take the team to the Super 8 stage of the tournament.

Openers: JP Kotze, Malan Kruger
JP Kotze is one of only three players in Namibian cricket history to score a hundred in the T20I format, which is why he will be a key player for the team to provide good starts at the top of the order. Malan Kruger is going to be his opening partner, who has limited experience of turning up in the shortest format of the game for Namibia, but he has showcased enough potential with his batting to get picked in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad.
