Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. had a decent outing against Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night as he scored 17 points averaging 50 per cent from the field. However, one day prior to the Nuggets' road game, numerous items including cash, bracelet, bags among others were reportedly stolen from Porter's Indianapolis hotel room.
In their four-game road swing, the Nuggets have defeated the Spurs and the Pacers and will now look to continue their winning run against Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls.
According to the Denver Post, a police report has been filed on Tuesday for the alleged theft, which took place in the absence of the Nuggets forward. An Indianapolis Police spokeswoman revealed that among the items stolen were money, a gold bracelet, two Louis Vuitton bags and a bible.
The 24-year-old Porter has $8,000 cash, a couple of Louis Vuitton bags valued at $2,250, a gold bracelet worth $2,000 and a bible taken from his room at the Conrad Indianapolis, as per the reports.
Talking about the Wednesday's game, the Nuggets beat the Pacers 122-119 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse as Porter made three of seven shots from beyond the arc, registered six rebound and a block in his 36 minutes of appearance against the Pacers.
