Neeraj Chopra has been one of the most talked about athletes in India since his gold medal win in the Tokyo Olympics. He recently clinched the top spot at the Doha Diamond and is now scheduled to compete in multiple tournaments at the global level in June. Ahead of his next tournament, the ‘Golden Boy’ has received a sigh of relief as the Mission Olympic cell has approved his training in Finland. 


It is to be noted that Chopra followed a similar training plan in the year 2022. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Chopra intends to train at the Kuortane Olympic Training Centre in Finland during this time. He has confirmed his participation at the Fanny Blankers-Koen Games in Hengelo, the Netherlands on June 4 and the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku, Finland on June 13.

June 4 - FBK Games, Netherlands

June 13 - Paavo Nurmi Games, Finland

June 27 - Golden Spike Ostrava, Czech Republic

August 19-27 - World Athletics Championships, Hungary

September 23-October 8 - Asian Games, China

As per the latest update by the MOC, Manika Batra and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran have been approved to train with personal coached for multiple events. Paddler Payas Jain has also been approved to attend the advanced training camp in Taiwan.
