After a brilliant ODI and Test series, it’s time for the T20Is. The Sri Lanka tour of New Zealand will kick off its T20I leg from Sunday, April 2. New Zealand were clinical in the Test series as they white-washed the Lankans 2-0.  The historic last ball thriller Test match, which kept the viewers on the edge of their seats took place in the same series. However, i t will be interesting to see how Dasun Shanaka leads his men against the mighty BlackCaps in away conditions.

Both the squads have some surprising changes. Sri Lankan fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera, who was named in the earlier announced squad has withdrawn from the series as he is still recovering from his left ankle surgery.  New Zealand will be missing a major chunk of their players like Kane Williamson, Devon Conway, Mitchell Santner, Glenn Phillips, Tim Southee, Finn Allen, Lockie Ferguson, Michael Bracewell as they will be taking part in the Indian Premier League which begins from March 31. Jimmy Neesham, however, makes a comeback into the T20I side after a short gap.
