Neymar Jr., the Brazilian superstar who joined Al-Hilal in a record-breaking deal this summer, is already unhappy with his new club and wants coach Jorge Jesus to be fired. The tension between the two erupted after the Asian Champions League match against Navbahor Namangan on Tuesday, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Neymar lost his cool during the game and pushed a Navbahor player before kicking the ball at him while taking a free kick, earning himself a yellow card. He also argued with his teammates and showed his frustration with the referee’s decisions.

Jorge Jesus, the Portuguese coach who led Al-Hilal to the Saudi Pro League title last season, was not impressed with Neymar’s behaviour, and he reportedly criticized Neymar for his bad attitude. Neymar did not react well at all and then allegedly asked Al-Hilal management to sack Jorge Jesus. The coach has reportedly received an ultimatum from the club leaders that if he fails to change the fortunes of the club, his contract may be terminated.

Neymar’s contract with Al-Hilal is worth up to USD 400 million over two years, including bonuses and commercial deals. He also received a private jet, a luxury home with dedicated staff, and a fleet of cars as part of his contract perks. However, money does not seem to buy happiness for the 31-year-old, who has yet to score a goal for his new club in three appearances.
