Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar recently spoke about a variety of different topics during an interview with Brazilian YouTuber Casimiro where he opened up about his future, his time at PSG with Messi, and the PSG project. Despite rumors linking the skillful Brazilian with a move back to his former club Barcelona, Neymar denies this and says he will remain a PSG player for the remainder of his contract.
Since joining PSG in the 2017 season for a world record 222 million euro deal, the Brazilian forward has found it difficult to live up to the immense expectations that came with the astronomical transfer fee. He is yet to win the Champions League with PSG, and despite a host of domestic titles in France, he is yet to truly win over PSG fans. This is because of a variety of reasons, mostly that Neymar has missed a great proportion of games during his time at the French club through injury or personal reasons. Despite this, however, he says he will stay a PSG player and see out his contract.

He said, “I have a contract with PSG, no one has informed me of anything. Even though there isn't a lot of love between the player and the fan, I will be there. With love or without love, but with Neymar.” The star striker has been linked with moves to a variety of clubs across Europe this season, including former club Barcelona and Saudi Arabia-backed Newcastle United.
Neymar says he knew Messi was going to the MLS
During the interview, Neymar shared that he knew Lionel Messi was looking to sign with Inter Miami and would not continue playing in Europe for PSG. "It was in the last few weeks. He was in doubt, then at the end he told me where he was going," said Neymar. "Messi has won everything already, his family has been greatly affected in these two years at PSG.”
When Messi joined Neymar and Mbappe, expectations were high for what was possibly the greatest front three in football history on paper. However it never seemed to quite work out, and despite magic spells of form, the trio would fail to lift the coveted European Cup.
“The Galacticos didn't win the Champions League, so it's part of the game. We had a very strong team. Me, Messi, and Mbappe are three guys who are the best in the world, we know that, but unfortunately, it didn't fit, it wasn't good for us,” said Neymar. The Brazilian will feature again for the Parisians in the coming Ligue 1 season, where the club will try to defend their Ligue 1 title.
