Brazilian footballer Neymar’s girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi, and their newborn child Mavie escaped a kidnapping attempt. Biancardi and their child were the target of a criminal group, who tried to break into their apartment in Brazil on Tuesday, November 7. Fortunately, neither Biancardi nor Mavie were at home when the incident took place.
Biancardi’s parents were said to be at home as per the R7 newspaper, and the elderly couple was taken hostage but later came out unhurt. The footballer’s girlfriend later confirmed the incident and said that her parents were safe while saying that she and her daughter were not at home when the incident took place.
The social media influencer took to Instagram to say, "Coming by to assure friends, family, and you who follow me here. This early morning, they robbed my house and took my parents hostage. Me, Mavie, and my sister are not living there anymore, and were not at the moment.
She added that those involved in the incident were later arrested by the police, "Thank god, everything is okay with them. Material things we can reconquer. The important thing is that everyone is well and those involved are being found.” Notably, police arrested a 20-year-old and started looking out for the other two involved with him.
