Nicholas Pooran's batting records vs CSK in IPL

Nicholas Pooran has been one of the most in-form players in the current IPL season, and it reflects as he leads the orange cap list with 349 runs in six matches till date. Pooran’s explosive batting has come in handy for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on multiple occasions as the team has secured four wins out of six games so far. Pooran is also holding the title for the fastest half-century in the 2025 IPL with his 18-ball half-century knock against SRH earlier. In fact, the fourth fastest half-century in IPL 2025 till now has also been scored by Pooran with his 21-ball 50 against KKR.

Up against LSG’s next opponent who is CSK, Pooran has faced to Chennai franchise on 10 occasions and has scored 249 runs against them till date. With a high-score of an unbeaten 64, Pooran has a decent strike rate of 157 against the Super Kings. Although he is yet to score a century against Chennai, he has been bowled out for a duck on one previous occasion by CSK. It will be interesting to see how Chennai plots to contain this in-form batter in the upcoming clash between the two side in the IPL 2025.

LSG aims for fourth consecutive win against struggling CSK

Lucknow Super Giants are set to take on Chennai Super Kings in the 30th match of the IPL 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket stadium in Lucknow on 14th April at 7:30pm IST. Lucknow will look to carry the winning momentum from the previous match against Gujarat Titans and also use the home-crowd support to the maximum by aiming to get a victory today.

CSK on the other hand are going through one of the worst seasons in the IPL with five defeats and just one victory in six matches so far. With the changed leadership and arrival of MS Dhoni at the helm, the Chennai franchise will hope for a turn around in fortunes with a good result in this game.
