Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the only one. There isn't a bigger cricketer in India than him. No one has a larger fan base than him, despite the fact that someone may have scored more runs or taken more wickets than him, reckons Harbhajan on Star Sports.

Dhoni appreciates his teammates and has taken this fandom to heart. Anyone else would go insane from the amount of love and emotion he exudes while walking, but Dhoni has been carrying this love and emotion in his heart for 15 years and has undergone absolutely no change, remarked former India and CSK spinner Harbhajan recently on Star Sports.

MS Dhoni has been an integral part of Indian cricket since his debut in 2004. He used to work as a ticket collector for Indian railways before 2004.  He was handed over the reigns of national captaincy in 2007 during the World T20 in South Africa. Since then he went on to win every single major ICC tournament. His journey from a ticket collector to a trophy has been phenomenal. He captained India in 200 one day internationals and won 110 of those with a win percentage of 55%. His win percentage in Test cricket is just below Virat Kohli at 45% and his win percentage in T20Is is 56.9%. He enjoyed a stellar international career with more than 10k runs in ODIs alone. Not only is he recognized as India’s most successful captain but is also one of  the greatest wicket keepers to grace the game.

He has been a stalwart figure in the IPL too. He is one of the very few people to have featured in every IPL season since its inception in 2008. He is the skipper of the Chennai Super Kings who are arguably one of the most successful teams in the league. He has led CSK to four IPL titles and two CLT20 titles which is a massive achievement for any captain. Due to his great longevity, he is loved and respected by fans from all walks of life. He has an inspirational story and continues to inspire young cricketers and fans alike.

Chennai Super Kings are currently placed at the third position in the IPL points table. CSK have won three games out of five and will face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next fixture on Friday night.
