Royal Challengers Bengaluru are heading towards a big total in the ongoing IPL 2025 clash against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. After Virat Kohli’s 67-run knock, skipper Rajat Patidar also went on to smash a fiery half-century as RCB batters were all over MI bowlers.

Batting first, RCB lost Phil Salt on the second ball of the innings. After that, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal added 91 runs for the second wicket. Padikkal got out after scoring 37(22) runs while Kohli scored 67 runs off 42 balls. After that, skipper Rajat Patidar took charge of the innings with his fiery innings.

After Virat Kohli’s dismissal, RCB skipper Rajat Patidar continued the momentum and went on to complete his half–century with a six in just 25 balls. The right hander got out after scoring 64 runs off 32 balls followed by the spectacular catch by wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton. After this, the fans come up with different reactions hailing Patidar for his captain's knock. 

Coming to bat first, RCB have posted a total of 221/5 in their 20 overs with Jitesh Sharma scoring a quickfire 40*(18) runs. MI now need 222 runs to get their second win of the season.
