Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed left the netizens buzzing after he emerged travelling abroad with son and wife. With the wicketkeeper-batter’s departure, reports surfaced that he has decided to migrate to the United Kingdom over his uncertain future in the national team.

However, reports continued that he would fly back to join his PSL side Quetta Gladiators for the upcoming edition, aiming to maintain his connection with the Pakistan cricket. While the reports surfaced after he was dropped from the Test series against Australia last year.
But according to recent reports, the wicketkeeper-batter has quashed all these rumours. “I’m not even thinking about leaving Pakistan and I wouldn’t make such a decision. This isn’t the first time I’ve been dropped from the team,” Sarfaraz was quoted by a Pakistan media outlet.
Moreover, the Quetta Gladiators’ manager Azam Khan also refuted the stories surrounding the 33-year-old's migration. Khan further revealed that he has gone to London to meet his son, who is studying there along with his wife and the other son.
The veteran wicketkeeper was dropped from the Pakistan squad after first Test defeat against Australian following scores of 3 and 4 respectively. Moreover, the 33-year-old has featured in 54 Tests, along with 117 ODIs and 61 T20Is for the Men in Green. He also led the side to victory in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.
