Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna who made it to the Indian ODI World Cup 2023 squad by replacing Hardik Pandya joined the team's practice session in Bengaluru. The Indian team engaged in a net session ahead of their last league clash against the Netherlands on November 12, Sunday. Ahead of the match, the Men in Blue sweated it out in nets, leaving no stone unturned for their final league game.

The session had Ishan Kishan practising throwdowns, while Shubman Gill scaled up his batting by facing Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna and local bowlers. Following that, Krishna was seen engaging in a discussion with bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and panned out different angles as well as strategies. The 27-year-old is likely to make his World Cup debut against Scott Edwards and Co.
Shreyas Iyer soon replaced Kishan in the nets and faced a couple of local bowlers, who was later replaced by Ravindra Jadeja. Krishna bowled to KL Rahul, who replied to him with massive sixes. Other than them, the Indian cricket team’s ‘Crowned Prince’ took on local spinners. While the batters and bowlers were practising their shots, head coach Rahul Dravid and skipper Rohit Sharma engaged in a discussion.
The likes of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami were not present at the session. Coming back to the tournament, the Men in Blue have already reserved their spot in the semifinals.
