Australia will be looking to sort out their team combination in the upcoming two warm-up matches, before they play their first match of the quadrennial spectacle against India in MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8. Even while the Australians won the third ODI against the hosts earlier in the week with a margin of 66 runs, they had lost the bilateral series by 2-1.

The Instagram stories of two of the biggest Aussie cricketers soaking in the city of Thiruvananthapuram were shared on X (Twitter), which led to them going viral on the platform. Notably, Steve Smith was moving around the place in a golf cart alongside Marnus Labuschagne, Alex Carey, and Sean Abbott, while David Warner did the same with Mitchell Marsh and Marnus Labuschagne, who made his second appearance in two separate videos.

Moreover, for their second warm-up match of the ODI World Cup 2023, Australia will travel up the country to the city of Hyderabad in Telangana. At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, they will take on the challenge of Pakistan, before the round-robin stage of the tournament begins.
