Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had a comeback to remember as he took a five-wicket haul in the first inning to bundle out Australia on the opening day of the first day at the score of 177. However, it wasn’t only for the good reasons that he was in the limelight on the ongoing Test.

The Indian veteran hogged the light after a video of Jadeja appeared to have taken something from Mohammed Siraj and applied it on his hand ahead of one of the overs. Watching the video closely confirmed that Jadeja was rubbing something on his bowling finger, however, it was unknown on what it was.
As reported by ESPNcricinfo, match referee Andy Pycroft reportedly questioned the Indian skipper and the all-rounder and later examined the video. After this, no charges were laid on the cricketer as the Indian team management informed the referee that it was an ointment that he had applied on his hand.

Reports stated that the Indian team management informed Pycroft that Jadeja was applying a pain-relieving lotion.
