Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant is celebrating his 27th birthday on October 4, 2024. He has achieved several milestones in his career so far ,  to become one of the best wicket-keepers for India in recent times. From his heroics in Gabba Test to equalling MS Dhoni’s record of most centuries by an Indian wicket-keeper in Test cricket, Rishabh Pant is also well-known for his unorthodox shots while batting. The left-handed batter brings the crowd at the edge of their seats with the bat in hand. 

Rishabh Pant returned strongly to cricket after he was seriously injured in a life-threatening road accident in December 2022. Due to this, Pant was in rehabilitation for almost more than a year, and finally made his comeback in professional cricket during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He had a good comeback season scoring 446 matches from 13 matches with a strike rate of 155.40. Pant was also a part of the Indian team that won the 2024 T20 World Cup in West Indies on June 29. Most 100s by Indian wicket-keeper in Tests: Rishabh Pant has scored six centuries in his Test career so far. With this, he has also equaled former Indian skipper MS Dhoni’s record of most centuries by an Indian wicket-keeper in the longest format. Rishabh Pant has a chance to go past this record in the upcoming years.

Most dismissal in a Test match by Indian wicket-keeper: Apart from his batting, Rishabh Pant has also excelled with his wicket keeping skills over the years. Pant has a record of most dismisses by a wicketkeeper in a Test match. The Indian wicket-keeper took 11 catches in a match against Australia in Adelaide in 2018. 

300 Runs and 15 dismissal in Test series: Rishabh Pant is also in the elite list of wicket-keepers who have scored more than 300 runs and took 15+ dismissal in a Test series twice. The left-hander scored 350 runs and took 20 dismissal in a Test series against Australia in 2018-19. Apart from that, Pant also scored 349 runs and took 18 in five match against England in 2021-22
