Shubman Gill has been one of the most impressive batters in the Indian cricket team since making his international debut five years ago. From being the second highest run scorer in India’s title triumph in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup to winning the orange cap in IPL 2023 with record 890 runs for Gujarat Titans, Gill has managed to establish himself as a regular player in the Indian cricket team in recent times.
The right-handed-batter is currently the new white-ball vice-captain of India, and he is being looked upon as the next big thing in Indian cricket. He also took charge as captain of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024 with mediocre success in the first season. In his first assignment as an Indian skipper, Gill led Men in Blue to 4-1 win in a T20I series in Zimbabwe in July 2024.
