Australian Test and ODI captain Pat Cummins came up with a savage reply when he was asked to choose four semifinalists during the T20 World Cup 2024. Cummins is currently leading SunRisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. The 30-year-old led his side to the ODI World Cup 2023 after defeating India in the finale of the marquee tournament. Not only this, but he also guided the Baggy Greens to win the WTC Finals 2023 after defeating India.
Needless to say, the wins have filled Cummins with confidence which is being reflected in his recent response. The Aussie was asked about his top four of the T20 World Cup 2024, to which he said that one would definitely be Australia and he doesn’t care about the rest three. In a video, the interviewer could be heard asking him, “Which are your top 4 teams for the T20 WC?”
Cummins came up with a savage reply and said, “Definitely Australia, other three you can choose whichever you want.” When the interviewer further asked him, “Which three do you want?” Cummins said, “Don't care, you can pick any of them.” The interview went viral almost instantly and garnered views and likes from cricket fans across the internet.
Pat Cummins heaps praise on Bhuvneshwar Kumar for bowling against RR
SunRisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins heaped praise on veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar for his action-packed over against his ex-team Rajasthan Royals. In their last meeting, Kumar dismissed Rovman Powell with a low full toss when the 2008 winners needed two runs off the final ball.
Cummins posted a picture with Kumar as well as a few snippets from the match and heaped praise on him for his heroics. The Aussie captioned the post, “Love playing alongside this bloke! Brilliant fight back with bat and ball to chalk up a brilliant win.”
