Influencer turned-boxer Elle Brooke called out former UFC stars Paige VanZant as well as Ronda Rousey and said that she wants to fight with these two. However, the former content creator first wants to lock horns with her old rival Astrid Wett. Elle and Astrid were set to clash in the former’s first fight but Astrid ended up pulling out, and since then both of them have been engaging in social media wars. After creating adult content for a while, the 25-year-old made a huge shift in her career path and switched to boxing, where she currently boasts a 3-1 record.
Brooke is currently gearing up for her rematch with Love Island star AJ Bunker, whom she outpointed in four rounds during her boxing debut 18 months ago. However, Brooke already has her plans outlined and she wants to clash against former UFC champions Paige VanZant and Ronda Rousey before settling the matter with Brooke.
She was in conversation with talkSPORT.com, where she called out VanZant and Rousey. Brooke said, "A really huge fight like Paige VanZant or Ronda Rousey. Someone like that, but then in between I need that Astrid fight.” She added, “I don’t think those fights would ever work without that one because that is the money fight, that could be like a main [event]. Nate Diaz has fought Jake Paul and then he’s facing another opponent in a couple of months.”
Brooke further said, "I know it’s called influencer boxing but it’s a crossover scene. You can get other fighters into the scene [and] I think that would make sense. “I think the only people who have done it are Jake Paul, KSI, and Bryce Hall. I would definitely love to put my name on the map by winning against a real fighter. Not that I’m underestimating influencer boxers, but someone that is known to be good, tough, and shocking. I want to be a true underdog and come out on top.”
Notably, Rousey hasn’t competed in any combat sport after being knocked out by Amanda Nunes in 2016. On the other hand, VanZant is planning to fight in bare-knuckle boxing in 2024.
