Mohammad Rizwan, the middle order batter for Pakistan, has suffered a bout of cramps, during his hundred against Sri Lanka at the ODI World Cup 2023 in Hyderabad. On October 10, Tuesday, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the 31-year-old put the Men in Green in the driving seat in their pursuit of a 345-run target, to register their second successive win in the flagship tournament.

It was the 37th over of the Pakistan innings with the scoreboard reading 239/3, when Mohammad Rizwan, who was in his 80s, tried to take the attack to the part-time spinner Dhananjaya de Silva in his bid to up the ante. But, the wicket-keeper batter got a cramp in his leg while looking to execute a reverse sweep, and then, on the next ball, there were more cramps in the offing for him, after he smashed a six over long off boundary.
