Indian batter Prithvi Shaw, who once again grabbed headlines, shared a cryptic Instagram story, where he was seen playing cricket with a kid in his house. Notably, Shaw made it to the news after he was dropped from Mumbai’s Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 squad for the first three rounds. Following his snub, it was revealed that the cricketer missed training sessions to attend late-night parties. Not only this, but the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) also made stern remarks, suggesting that the batter is his own enemy. 

Amid the tough phase of his career, Shaw unwinded by playing cricket with a kid. The batter shared a video on his social media, and also shared a cryptic message, suggesting that people who show unwavering support in hard times are family. He wrote, “When everything feels difficult, the people who stand by you without flinching, they are your family.” Not only this, but the cricketer also shared a picture with his father, stressing that he has the support of his father in tough times. 

Mumbai start Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign with seven-wicket loss

Mumbai began their campaign in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 with a seven-wicket loss against Karnataka. During the game, skipper Shreyas Iyer recorded a powerful knock of 114* runs, with a combination of 10 maximums and five boundaries. However, despite the effort, the side was unable to win the match, and lost it to Karnataka.
