Persepolis Club did not hand over five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo’s signed shirt to the Iranian artist Fatemeh Hamami, who drew a portrait of him with her feet. Fatemeh’s brother said that the club had promised to give the shirt to his sister but failed to do so. The Iranian artist , who suffers from a rare genetic disorder that affects her limbs, is a fan of Ronaldo and Persepolis.

Ronaldo hugged Fatemeh and gave her a signed shirt, but Fatemeh’s brother reportedly gave out a statement later, saying, "Unfortunately, the shirt bearing Ronaldo’s signature was not delivered to my sister by the Persepolis club." He added that the club had contacted him and asked for his sister’s address but never sent the shirt.

Ronaldo was in Tehran, Iran, for his club Al-Nassr’s fixture against Iranian giants Persepolis. The match was part of the group stage of the AFC Champions League. Al-Nassr got the better of the Iranian club, as the match ended 2-0 in favour of Ronaldo’s club. The first goal Persepolis conceded was an own goal by Danial Esmaeilifar in the 62nd minute. Al-Nassr’s Mohammed Qassem found the net in the 72nd minute and doubled the lead for the Saudi club.
The 38-year-old will feature next in the Saudi Pro League match against Al-Ahli Saudi which is scheduled to take place on Friday night. The game will be played at Al-Nassr’s home, the KSU Stadium. Al-Nassr is ranked in sixth place, whereas Al-Ahli Saudi is ranked in third place in the league table.
