Table toppers Sydney Thunder Women registered their sixth win of the season in the ongoing 2024 Women’s Big Bash League as they defeated Melbourne Stars Women by four wickets in match number 33 at Drummoyne Oval in New South Wales. For Sydney Thunder, fast bowler Hannah Darlington shone with a three-wicket haul as Melbourne Stars were restricted at 108/9 in their 20 overs. After that, Tahila WIlson and Anika Learoyd put up an steady partnership of 49 runs as Sydney Thunder took the match away from Melbourne Stars.Wilson got out after scoring 33(40) runs while Learoyd remained unbeaten 31*(37) runs as Thunders won the match with two balls to spare.
