After losing ODI series by 1-2, Australia showed their dominance in the T20I series against Pakistan, whitewashing them 3-0 in a three-matches. Australian bowlers dismantled the Pakistani batting lineup before Marcus Stoinis smashed a fiery half-century as they won the third and the final T20I by seven wickets at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, on Monday, November 18.
Coming to bat first after winning the toss, Pakistan lost their first wicket at the score of 17 runs in 1.4 overs. After that, Babar Azam and Haseebullah Khan put up a partnership of 44 runs for the second wicket. Haseebullah got out after scoring 24 runs off 19 balls with three boundaries. After that, Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals with Babar trying to stay at the crease from the other end. The right-hander top scored with a knock of 41 runs off 28 balls, while hitting four boundaries before his untimely dismissal against Adam Zampa.

After Babar Azam got out, none of the other batters could score big as Pakistan were bowled out for 117 runs in 18.1 overs. For Australia, Aaron Hardie registered figures of 3/21 in his spell of four overs. Shaheen Afridi hit some big shots in the end scoring 16 off 12 balls with two fours and a maximum. Apart from that, Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa took 2 wickets each, while Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis scalped a wicket each.
Coming to chase a winning total of 118 runs, Australia lost both their openers at the score of 30 runs in 3.3 overs. After that, Marcus Stoinis and skipper Josh Inglis took charge of the innings as the duo put up a partnership of 55 runs for the third wicket. Inglis got out after scoring 27(24) with four boundaries. On the other hand, Stoinis smashed a fifty in just 23 balls, and took his team over the finishing line for yet another impressive T20I win. The right-hander remained unbeaten on 61*(27) after smashing five fours and as many sixes as Australia chased the winning total in just 11. 2 overs, while losing three wickets.
