Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan continued his golden form in IPL 2025 as he smashed his third half-century of the season. With the help of his knock of 82 runs, GT posted a huge total of 217 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs as defended it successfully to register their fourth win of the season and reach at the top of the points table.

Coming to bat first after losing the toss, GT lost their skipper Shubman Gill in the third over, After that, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler put up a partnership of 80 runs for the second wicket. Buttler got out after scoring 36 runs off 25 balls hitting five boundaries. After that, Shahrukh Khan joined Sudharsan at the crease as the duo added another 62 runs before Shahrukh got out after scoring 36(20) runs with four fours and two sixes.

Sai Sudharsan smashes 3rd fifty in IPL 2025

Young batter Sai Sudharsan continued to take the innings further and went on to complete his third fifty of the season in just 32 balls. The 23-year-old started off his season with back-to-back fifties against Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians respectively and got out on 49 runs against RCB. However, Sudharsan couldn’t score more than five runs against SRH but got his form back in the recent game against RR. The opening batter got out after scoring 82 runs off 53 balls hitting eight fours and three sixes.

After Sai Sudharsan’s dismissal, Rashid Khan scored a quickfire 12(4) runs while Rahul Tewatia gave finishing touches 24*(12) runs as GT posted 217 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. After that, the bowlers did their job well and bowled RR out for 159 runs in 19.2 overs to win the match by 58 runs.
