Dana White’s Power Slap has been making headlines since its television debut last month. In a big update, the league has suspended one its competitors over a positive drug test. The news broke out on Thursday morning (16 February) after the Nevada Athletic Commission decision.

With this positive test, Jon Kennedy will undergo nine-month suspension after testing positive for cocaine following his slap-fighting competition on November 30, 2022. It is to be noted that cocaine is classified as a substance of abuse under the World Anti-Doping Agency and is banned across competitions for all athletes.
Following the suspension, the slap-fighter will not be allowed to compete in any tournament until August 20, 2023. Along with this, he will have to pay a sum of USD 150 with addition USD 326 prosecution fees.
Talking about Jon Kennedy, prior to his stint at the Power Slap, he fought in MMA in regional competitions like North Iowa Fights and Victory FC.
