The next fixture will see Puneri Paltan lock horns against the Bengal Warriors. The evening will be concluded by tournament leader Dabang Delhi K.C. facing the Patna Pirates.


Match 30: U Mumba vs Haryana Steelers

The struggling U Mumba will face the fellow bottom-four team in the Haryana Steelers in the 30th match of PKL season nine. The Mumbai-based team is placed ninth on the points table with only two wins in four games. The Steelers also have an identical record but enter this fixture after a win. 


Whereas U Mumba suffered a heart-breaking two-point loss against the Puneri Paltan. On the offensive front, Mumbai is carried by their rising star Guman Singh who has 28 points so far. Defensively, the U Mumba has a decent record with 9 successful tackles per match. Whereas Steelers are fourth in the category paired with a dismal offence led by Manjeet’s 37 raid points.

The second game of the day will see the Bengal Warriors take on the Puneri Paltan in the 31st match of PKL season nine. The Paltan is fifth on the points table with two wins, two losses and one tie in five games. Whereas the Warriors are the fourth-best team of the season with three wins and two losses.


Entering this match, the West Bengal-based team lost to the Jaipur Pink Panthers whereas Puneri Paltan was defeated by the Telugu Titans in their previous games. The 2019 Champions have Maninder Singh as the leader of their offence with 43 points. Whereas defensively, Girish Ernak has been the team’s backbone with 20 tackle points. Whereas the Pune-based are towards the bottom in both departments. They are placed sixth in the Successful Tackles and fourth in the Total Points Scored categories.

The table-topper Dabang Delhi K.C will face the 12th-placed Patna Pirates in the 32nd match of PKL season nine. The Dabangs are undefeated with five wins in five games. Whereas the Pirates are at the bottom of the table with four losses and one tie. 


Entering this fixture, Delhi defeated Haryana Steelers while Patna lost to Tamil Thaliavas. Dabangs are carried by their raiding star Naveen Kumar who has 68 points so far. Defensively, the Delhi-based team has the best defence with 12.8 successful tackles per match. On the contrary, Yodhas are 11 in the category paired with a sub-par offence led by Sachin’s 40 raid points.
