Ahead of the 2023 PUBG Mobile Global Championship Grand Finals, PUBG Mobile Esports announced major changes in the 2024 calendar. One of the prominent changes in the 2024 calendar will be an introduction to a brand-new event named PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO), which will take place in Brazil in March-April 2024.
Not only this, the PUBG Mobile Esports also announced a few more additions to the 2024 calendar including PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL). At the highest level of the PUBG Mobile Esports, which includes two existing events, namely the PMGC and the PMWI, they will be joined by another key event, PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO). Whereas in the second tier, the PMSL will expand its wins in four more regions, with Southeast Asia getting three seasons of PMSL in 2024 and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Americas, Central and South Asia getting two each.
Talking about the third tier, it will feature PMSL regional qualifiers, connect amateur and semi-professional prospects with professionals in order to give them a stage to compete with the higher-ranked player.
While all of these will come into picture, starting next year, the PUBG Mobile Esports will host the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals from 8 to 10 December in Turkey.
