The collaboration between PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball, one of the most well-known anime properties in the world, was officially announced on Twitter last year in August 2022. This collaboration came after the Dragon Ball and Fortnite's relationship, which added anime-inspired character skins to the game. However, PUBG Mobile made it clear that the partnership wouldn't be accessible in the well-known mobile battle royale until 2023.

The most recent 2.6 update, which at the moment has the Dinoground theme on classic maps, did not include Dragon Ball content. But if the rumours are true, officials intend to make Dragon Ball content available alongside the 2.7 upgrade. The classic battle royale maps will likely see themed alterations in this update, along with the addition of a Dragon Ball Discovery event.

The official PUBG Mobile handle posted a teaser on Friday which said, “Something exciting is detected on your radar… PUBG MOBILE x Dragon Ball Super is coming soon!”

This tweet has almost confirmed that the 2.7 update will have the new Dragon Ball themed update. Fans of the popular anime are excited for the update to roll out soon, however the exact release date has not been announced yet.

Here are some of the facts that have been made public so far concerning the partnership:

As per the announcement so far, the partnership is expected to occur in 2023, however no precise date has been made public yet. New characters from the Dragon Ball Super anime and manga series, including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo are said to appear in the collaboration.
