Star Indian shuttler and two-time Olympic medallist Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, commonly known as PV Sindhu is all set to begin a new chapter in her life as she is set to tie a knot with Hyderabad-based techie later this month. Sindhu, who recently featured in the Syed Modi International 2024, registered her first win in two years.
According to PTI, the wedding ceremonies of PV Sindhu and Venkata Datta Sai, who is an Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, will begin from December 20 in Udaipur and the families will hold a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. The wedding ceremony is schedule to take place on December 22.
PV Sindhu to tie a knot on December 22 in Udaipur
The 29-year-old, who won her first title on the BWF tour in more than two years at the Syed Modi International 2024 in Lucknow on Sunday, December 1, defeated People’s Republic of China’s Wu Luo Yu in straight sets 21-14, 21-16. The Indian shuttler who will take some rest ahead of the jam-packed schedule, starting from January 2025, will begin her new phase as she marries Venkata Datta Sai.
Speaking on the same, PV Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana told PTI, “The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January.” “So that is the reason the two families decided to have the marriage ceremony on December 22. The reception will be held in Hyderabad on december 24. She wil;l start her training soon after as the next season is going to be important,” he further added.
