RA Esports unveiled the third Battlegrounds Mobile India ( BGMI ) event of 2024, Battle For Swaraj Season 1. The event will be live for three weeks, where a total of 32 teams will participate and fight for the prize pool of INR 7 lakhs as well as special awards and prize money. Not only this, but it will also have prizes for individual performances and each group in the event. The 32 teams participating in the event will be divided into 2 groups of 16 games each. 

Those 32 teams will play across the League Stage from May 13 to May 15, and the top 12 teams from each group will advance. The semi-finals will take place on May 20, and ultimately, the grand finale will be hosted on May 27. It will have the top 16 teams from the semi-finals competing against each other for the ultimate title. 

As mentioned, the event offers a prize pool of INR 7 lakhs divided across the various stages of the tournament. The league stage of the event has a prize pool of INR 2 lakhs, 1 for each group. It will also have prize money for individual performances like the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

The prize pool of the event is distributed as follows: 

  • 1st Place (Red and Blue Group): INR 45,000 each.
  • 2nd Place (Red and Blue Group): INR 25,000 each.
  • 3rd Place (Red and Blue Group): INR 15,000 each.
  • 4th Place (Red and Blue Group): INR 5,000 each.
  • Semi Finals MVP (Red and Blue Group): INR 10,000 each.

The event will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of RA Esports and the RA Esports Rooter Channel from 5 pm onwards. Needless to say, the event serves as a great opportunity for budding teams like Genesis Esports, RIP Mizo Gaming, THW Esports, and more.
