The Indian head coach Rahul Dravid is currently in Colombo with the Indian contingent for the Asia Cup 2023. The tournament which kick started on August 30 with India taking on Pakistan in their tournament opener, saw them eventually seal the Super 4s berth after a 10-wicket win over Nepal.

The former Indian cricketer, who was reckoned as ‘The Wall’ of Indian Test cricket got featured in the quiz show, hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. In the recent episode, where the show got its first winner of INR 1 Crore, the contestant was asked a question relating to cricket for the prize worth INR 12,50,000.
However, the contestant Jaskaran Singh on his way to the last question was countered with a question relating to Indian cricket. The question which read, ‘Which of these cricketers does not hold a degree in engineering?’ had names of Anil Kumble, R Ashwin, Krishnamachari Srikkanth and Rahul Dravid among the four options.
Meanwhile, Jaskaran, himself was not sure of the answer, opted for a audience poll lifeline which helped him give the correct answer in Rahul Dravid . Additionally, during his time on the hot seat with the Bollywood star, Singh was encountered with questions relating to not only cricket, but also politics, diplomatic events to name a few.
Talking about Rahul Dravid, the 51-year-old was appointed the Head Coach of the Indian men’s team in November 2021, taking over the reigns from Ravi Shastri. Dravid’s contract however is set to expire after the 2023 ODI World Cup, set to take place in India in October - November.
