With this convincing win, which included goals from Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo, Real Madrid have set up a mouthwatering Sunday’s Cup final against arch-rivals Barcelona at the same venue, thousands of kilometers away from Spain.
Notably, Real Madrid were on the attack from the get-go against Mallorca, but they were unable to score any goals in the first half in front of a sturdy defense from their opposition. But in the second half, during the 63rd minute, Jude Bellingham slotted the ball into the back of the net to give his team a much deserved 1-0 lead after Rodrygo’s header hit the post, and the follow-up from Kylian Mbappe was saved by Mallorca somehow.

With Mallorca trying to push for an equaliser late in the second half, Real Madrid found a way to stay affront, and they doubled their lead in the 92nd minute, thanks to an own goal from Martin Valjent after he turned the through ball from Brahim Diaz from into his own net. Just before the final whistle, Rodrygo scored the third goal for Real Madrid after Lucas Vazquez’s shot from close range was stopped in its tracks.
