The Men in Green will be seen in action at the T20 World Cup once again with Babar Azam returning at the helm, replacing Shaheen Shah Afridi. While the team will play Ireland in a three-match T20I series before travelling to the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024, set to be played in June.
But ahead of the marquee event, set to begin next month, there have been reports of rift in the camp. In one of the videos going viral on social media, the skipper was seen having an animated chat with Imad Wasim with the teammates trying to intervene and separate them.

However, in another video, the Imad Wasim clarified that there is no rift between the two and all things rest well. Imad Wasim recently announced his return to Pakistan national side following his u-tun from retirement along with Mohammad Amir.
Speaking of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, the Babar Azam-led side, who are placed in Group A, will begin their campaign against the United States at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas on June 6.
