Rinku Singh, the young KKR batting sensation who played one of the best innings in IPL history on Sunday (April 9) against the defending champions Gujarat Titans. The youngster came into bat at No.5 after skipper Nitish Rana got out to Alzarri Joseph. However, the target looked achievable with 77 runs required from 41 balls, Rahid Khan’s hat-trick changed the momentum of the game towards GT.

Here all hope seemed lost for KKR as Umesh Yadav was facing the final over with 29 runs needed off 6 deliveries. While he took a single on the first ball and gave the strike to Rinku Singh, what followed after that was pure devastation. The young batter went on to hit 5 consecutive sixes in the next 5 balls and sealed the game for KKR.

Rinku Singh had played a similar innings in IPL earlier by scoring 40(15) while chasing 211 against LSG, but unfortunately lost the match by just 2 runs.
