Rishabh Pant on Monday (January 16) posted for the first time on social media after a horrific car accident which he met with on December 30, 2022. The Indian cricketer shared an update on his health through Twitter. While he thanked his fans and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for their support while also talking that his surgery was a success.

While he wrote a long tweet appreciating and thank everyone for their support during the tough times, he also shared a picture for the first time. This picture wasn’t of Pant himself but the two people who helped him post the accident and ensured he reached safely to the hospital.

 

“I may not have been able to thank everyone individually, but I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and ensured I got to the hospital safely. Rajat Kumar & Nishu Kumar, Thank You. I’ll be forever grateful and indebted,” Pant wrote on Twitter with their image which had earlier gone viral.


The 25-year-old had also shared a Marvel 3D icon light spiderman bobblehead from Avengers on his Instagram story.


Rishbah Pant is set to be out of action for almost the entire 2023. The 25-year-old is also set to miss the Indian Premier League 2023. This news was confirmed by Delhi Capitals Head Sourav Ganguly. With his absence, the Men in Blue will miss the wicketkeeper-batter’s presence in IPL 2023, ODI World Cup 2023, Asia Cup 2023, WTC Final (if India qualifies).
