Rockstar Games on Tuesday, December 5 ended the prolonged wait and consistent delays to drop the much-awaited trailer of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6. The GTA 6 which was long awaited, boasts of ‘love and crime’ theme. However, the trailer is said to have leaked just hours ahead of official launch, it has been doing rounds and has lit social media on fire with further speculations, details, new characters, including many others.
The GTA 6 trailer which is set in the Miami-inspired Vice City, chronicles a romantic and violent relationship between Lucia, the first female protagonist and a lone male lead. The GTA 6 creators, Rockstar Games took to X (formerly Twitter) to share on the trailer release with a caption reading, “Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube”.
The creators further added that the game will launch early in 2025 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S. Additionally, the trailer in just hours after reveal has amassed 41,287,007 and counting views on the gaming platform’s YouTube channel.
Rockstar Games in their official statement about GTA 6 added, “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
