Rohan Bopanna, India's veteran tennis player, has climbed to No. 7 in the latest ATP doubles rankings released on Monday. This is his best ranking since October 2013, when he was also No. 7. Bopanna's rise in the rankings came after his impressive performance at Wimbledon 2023, where he reached the semi-finals of the men's doubles event with his Australian partner Matthew Ebden.

The duo lost to the top-seeded pair of Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski in straight sets. Bopanna and Ebden have been in fine form this year, reaching the finals of the Madrid Open and the semifinal of the Barcelona Open. The 43-year-old Bopanna has a career-high ranking of No. 3, which he achieved in July 2013.
Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz, the Spanish sensation, has solidified his position as the world No. 1 in the ATP singles rankings after his stunning victory over Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final. Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in a thrilling five-setter, 1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, to claim his second Grand Slam title.

Tommy Paul had a successful grass season, becoming runner-up at the Eastbourne International and reaching the third round at Wimbledon. As a result, the American rose to 14th place which is career best. Chris Eubanks, a 27-year-old from Atlanta, was the significant mover in the men's rankings as his performance at the All England Club propelled him from a career-high No. 43 to a new personal best of No. 31. The top ten of the men’s rankings saw no changes.
In the Women’s section, Marketa Vondrousova's maiden Grand Slam triumph catapulted her to a career-high No. 10 on the WTA Rankings. Vondrousova rose 32 positions from No. 42 after defeating Ons Jabeur 6-4, 6-4 in the All England Club final on Saturday. Marketa Vondrousova, 24, of the Czech Republic, won the grass-court major as the lowest-ranked and first unseeded woman.

The top seven women's rankings remained unchanged with 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina at No. 3, followed by Jessica Pegula, Caroline Garcia, Jabeur, and Coco Gauff. Elina Svitolina, who reached the quarterfinals just three months after returning to the tour following maternity leave, jumped 49 places to No. 27.
