The Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue are taking on England in the fourth Test of the five-match series in Ranchi. Team India was invited to field first after England won the toss. While they posted 307 runs, giving England a 46-run lead and added 145 runs to put up 191 runs finally on Day 3.
But on Day 2 of the ongoing Test, a hilarious incident unfolded. With the Indian top-order struggling to score runs, despite Yashasvi Jaiswal playing a gritty 117-ball 73, Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav steadied the ship. With Kuldeep Yadav and Dhruv Jurel at the crease, the top-order batters in skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill was seen mimicking the Indian spinner from the dugout. While Gill replicated the tailender’s defense, Sharma imitated his pull shot.
The incident took place with Kuldeep Yadav batting at 17 at end of Day 2, the two Indian batters was mimicking unorthodox batting style from the dressing room.
Speaking of the match, India cut the first inning target to 46 runs and eventually bundled out the visitors to 145, eventually posting 191 runs lead. At lunch on Day 4 of the fourth Test, India needs 74 runs to win with Shubman Gill (18 off 62) and Ravindra Jadeja (3 off 29) in the middle.
