Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is all set to make his acting debut as the 35-year-old shared the poster of his upcoming film. Sharma is seen in a totally different avatar in the poster released.

“Butterflies in my stomach. A debut of a kind,” wrote Sharma while announcing the big news.

Former India captain and current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly will also be starring in the film. " It was fun shooting for it! The new Mega Blockbuster is releasing soon! " wrote Ganguly while announcing the news.

Notably, the trailer of the film will be released on 4th September.

Currently, Rohit Sharma is in the UAE fulfilling his captaincy duties for Team India in the Asia Cup 2022. The Men in Blue have already qualified for the second round of the tournament i.e. Super 4s. India beat arch-rivals Pakistan in their first group stage match. Then they beat Hong Kong to reach the Super 4s.

While India has been doing, captain Rohit Sharma has not played an inning of his calibre. Although he looked in good touch against Hong Kong, Sharma got out after scoring 21 runs. Now, as it seems, another India-Pakistan game is on the cards, and the captain will be expected to come good.
