The One-Day Cup is a fifty-over limited-overs cricket competition for England and Wales' first-class counties. It began in 2014 when Durham were crowned as the winner of the inaugural edition.  All 18 first-class counties will participate in the competition, and matches will be played over 50 overs per side with List A cricket status.

The competition is set to begin on August 1 and conclude on September 16 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Kent won the 2022 competition and are the reigning champions. On the first day of play jam-packed with fixtures, defending champions Kent will start the tournament against Yorkshire in Scarborough on August 1.
