Chasing a target of 197 runs, Rohit Sharma was looking to give a fiery start with back-to-back boundaries in the first over. However, his innings couldn't last long as Mohammed Siraj cleaned up his stumps on the very next ball after conceding two fours.

Talking about the match, batting first, GT posted a total of 196 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan turned out to be a top scorer with his knock of 63(41) runs while skipper Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler contributed with 38 runs and 39 runs respectively. Chasing the winning target, MI have already lost four wickets.
