Former India cricketer Suresh Raina is currently playing alongside some of the greats of the game in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Masters in Doha. The middle-order batter is playing for India Maharajas in the ongoing third edition of the LLC Masters. While addressing the press conference post India Maharajas’ loss against World Giants by three wickets, Raina gave a fitting reply to one of the journalist’s questions.

A media personnel after Suresh Raina’s brilliant knock in match six of the LLC Masters said, “Everyone wants you back in the IPL after your performance tonight in the Legends League Cricket”. Raina gave a hilarious response to this question leaving everyone in splits.

“Main Suresh Raina hoon. Main Shahid Afridi nahi hoon. Retirement le chuka hoon (I’m Suresh Raina, not Shahid Afridi. I’ve taken retirement),” he replied.
