In a big update, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are all set to miss their skipper in Shreyas Iyer for the 16th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). As reported, Iyer is likely to remain on the sidelines for the next 4-5 months. The Indian batter was ruled out of the ongoing India vs Australia ODI series after a recurring lower back injury.

Iyer, who was part of the India squad for the Border Gavaskar Trophy had to forcefully pull out of the fourth Test due to the recurrence of injury.
