India batter Shubman Gill continued his prime form in the Asia Cup and smashed 5th ODI ton in his short career thus far. On a wicket where all Indian batters struggled to score runs, Gill showed his class and kept the temperament. The young lad not only impressed the Indian management but also the fans, spectators and the commentators.
The Indian team management will hope that Gill continues his fine form in the World Cup, which is now just a couple of weeks away. In the 17 ODI matches that Gill has played in 2023, he has amassed over 1000 runs and averages over 71 runs which itself shows the his consistency at the top level.
While celebrating his 100, Gill did his famous flamboyant celebration and looked towards the dug out.
