Skyesports Championship 5.0, one of the most keenly awaited gaming extravaganza from Skyesports, is set to feature three different competitions, including the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Counter Strike 2, and Real Cricket 22. The fifth edition of the most electrifying esports tournament IP of the year is going to have a prize pool of INR 2.12 Crore, in comparison to the INR 3 Lakh from 2019.

The Skyesports Championship 5.0 event is scheduled to take place at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore from November 1 to 5. The broadcasting partner of the gaming extravaganza for Skyesports will be LOCO, while it will be powered by AMD .
Skyesports sent out a reel on their official Instagram account for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 event in collaboration with AMD India. They showcased how the esports tournament evolved into a massive property in the span of four years, beginning from 2019, along with all the necessary details for the upcoming event later this year.
As per the report from InsideSport, the BGMI competition for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 event will have 16 teams, including four teams who have received direct entry to the grand finale, namely, Team Soul, Godlike Esports, Big Brother Esports, and Blind Esports.
The CEO of Skyesports, Shiva Nandy was quoted as saying about the latest development, “My favourite Skyesports Championship IP is back! In 2019, our journey began with Skyesports Championship 1.0, and we had just two employees. It was a small esports tournament held in Chennai with a prize pool of 3 lakhs. Fast forward to 2023, We are incredibly proud to announce that this season boasts India’s biggest prize pool ever at a staggering 2.12 crore for the Skyesports Championship IP.”
