Sri Lanka Legends opener Tillakaratne Dilshan displayed his batting prowess and scored a sensational century against Australia Legends in the second edition of the Road Safety World Series on Sunday in Kanpur.
Dilshan smashed the AUS Legends bowlers for 14 boundaries and four sixes during his innings of 107 runs off 56 balls. The Sri Lanka Legends batter was dismissed on the second-last delivery of the 19th over.

With his magnificent ton, Dilshan became first cricketer to score a century in the history of the Road Safety World Series. Dilshan combined with fellow opener Dilshan Munaweera (95) for a massive 208-run partnership for the first wicket as Sri Lanka Legends placed 218 runs on the board in 20 overs with a loss of just one wicket.
Australia Legends star pacer Brett Lee leaked runs at an economy of 11.25, however, he picked the only wicket of Sri Lanka legends in his last over. Apart from him, Dirk Nannes, who played for various Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises, recorded a decent bowling spell of 4- 0- 29- 0.
Shane Watson-led Australia Legends required to score 219 runs in 20 overs to win the game against Tilakaratne Dilshan-led Sri Lanka Legends.
