In the ongoing 1st ODI match between Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan at Pallekele, the young batting sensation Pathum Nissanka went on to create history by becoming the first batsman to smash a double century for Sri Lanka in ODIs.

Nissanka went onto score 210 runs off 139 balls which comprised off 20 boundaries and 8 sixes respectively and helped his team to post one of their team a huge total of 381/3 in 50 overs.
