Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have formed a new-looking squad for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with some big buys in the IPL 2025 mega auction, LSG also backed some old players and are looking like a balanced squad for the upcoming season. With a power packed batting lineup in the middle-order, LSG have some talented Indian players in the bowling unit.

Openers: Matthew Breetzke, Aryan Juyal
LSG will be coming with a new opening pair with the likes of Matthew Breetzke and Aryan Juyal. South African wicketkeeper, Breetzke is also a part of LSG’s sister franchise Durban Super Giants in SA20. The right-hander also finished as the third highest run getter in SA20 2024 and played a crucial role for DSG to get into the final. He can be seen opening the innings with the young Indian batter Aryan Juyal, who is also likely to make his IPL debut for LSG in 2025.
